What this policy covers

This policy explains how KUTCHENHAUS THEALE LTD uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on kutchenhausltd.com.

How the shop uses them

Strictly necessary technologies run because you ask the shop to remember a basket, protect forms, and keep a basic session. They are not switched off by the banner. The site would not take an order request reliably without them.

Optional technologies run only after you allow that category. If a tool is not installed on this site, this policy does not mean that the tool is active.

Categories

The banner groups technologies as follows.

• Strictly necessary. Always on. They support security, the basket, checkout, order requests, load balancing or session continuity, and storing the fact that you made a cookie choice.
• Analytics. Off until you allow them. They help us see, in aggregate, which pages are used and where a journey is unclear. They are not used to build a file for unrelated advertising.
• Marketing. Off until you allow them. They may measure advertising or allow a remarketing tag. Third-party advertising cookies are not set unless that tag is actually present and you have consented.
• Preferences. Off until you allow them. They remember optional display choices in this browser. The shop does not currently rely on them for language, because the site is presented in English for the United Kingdom.

What is stored

• Basket. The products, quantities, chosen finish or length, and the link to the product page, kept in local storage in this browser until you empty the basket or clear site data.
• Consent. The version of your choice, the categories you allowed, and the time of the last change, tied to this hostname.
• Session. Short-lived technical values that can end when you close the browser, where they are set that way.

We do not use the consent key to recognise you across other websites. We do not sell the contents of the basket as a marketing list.

Your choices

Accept all allows every optional category. Reject optional, or the equivalent control, leaves only strictly necessary technologies. Manage settings lets you switch analytics, marketing, and preferences separately and then save.

You can reopen Cookie settings later. You can also delete cookies and site data in the browser. Blocking necessary storage can stop the basket, checkout, or security checks from working.

Browser controls differ. Look for privacy or site-data settings in your browser’s help pages if you want to block storage before you visit.

How long they last

Session storage ends when you close the browser, where it is set that way. The basket may persist in local storage until you clear the cart or the site data.

The consent record stays until you change it or clear storage for this hostname. We do not use the consent key to identify you across other websites.

Third parties

Fonts and icons may be loaded from a font or icon host when you open a page. Those hosts receive the usual technical request data, such as IP address. They are not given your order notes.

If you later allow analytics or marketing, the relevant provider may set its own cookie. That happens only after consent, and only if the tag is configured.

Updates and contact

We update this policy when the banner, the storage key, or the law changes. The date at the top is the version in force.
